So far it’s been a pretty busy Spring Wine Festival.
The sun had arrived right on cue as Sunday was the launch of the Fortis BC “Salute to Food” event. Set on the patio of the beautiful Manteo Resort with the Okanagan Lake as a perfect backdrop the evening was a great success.
I was filming the event which featured cooking displays by some of the most talented Chefs in the Valley, among them Chef Bernard Casavant (Manteo Resort) and Chef Matt Batey from Mission Hill Family Estate Winery.
Next up on the Friday evening was “All you need is Cheese” event held at the Kelowna Museum where the emcee for the night was the lovely Jessica Samuels from 1150 AM.
Later that same evening we headed to Summerhill Winerys Masquerave event which featured guest wineries from Cedar Creek, Tantulus and St Hubertus. Masquerave is surely one of the funkiest events during Spring Wine Fest.
